Temminck's Stint

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan of Fircrest, Washington found this Temminck's Stint on 9 November 2005.  Birders throughout the country were grateful to them for finding and quickly reporting the bird to others.  It appears this may be the first record of this species in the Lower 48.  The Sullivan's photos are on the web at http://www.pbase.com/godwit/temmincks_stint
